About Physical Therapy
Life Fit Physical Therapy treats a variety of different problems. Whether you have had a sports-related injury, accident at home or work, suffer from chronic problems due to fibromyalgia, osteoporosis
or arthritis or are recovering from surgery, Life Fit can assist you with your rehabilitation and recovery needs. All it takes is a prescription from your Primary Care Physician or Specialist for
physical therapy.
Life Fit’s Staff
Our therapists are highly qualified and licensed physical therapists with training in a broad range of treatments and approaches — from sports medicine and fitness to chronic conditions and trauma.

Life Fit’s Owners Michael Dellapena, MSPT Michael holds a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Neumann College and a Bachelor’s in Exercise Physiology from Temple University. He has worked in the Physical Therapy field for 10 years. Michael has developed clinical documentation systems and training manuals and has educated physicians, therapists and patients on a variety of physical therapy topics. Michael is also an experienced, competitive athlete and coach. His accomplishments include coaching Temple University’s Varsity Men’s Gymnastics team to two Conference Championships. Currently, Michael oversees operations at Life Fit in addition to evaluating and treating patients.
Jim Petaccio, MSPT Jim received his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Neumann College. He has worked in Physical Therapy at various hospitals and rehabilitation centers in the Philadelphia region since 1989. Most recently Jim has served as coordinator of Athletic Training at Kennedy-Kenrick Catholic High School, Assistant Professor at Harcum College’s PTA Program and Science Department and founder of his own company, Petaccio Rehabilitation Services. He has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1987 and the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association since 1991. Jim has resided in the Norristown area for 14 years.
